Zámek Hluboká nad Vltavou – český Windsor v podzimním parku

With Lucky Transfer's private transport we take you door-to-door from Brno or Vienna to both landmarks in a single day – no driving, no parking, no stress.

We pick you up at your chosen address in a comfortable Škoda Superb III Laurin & Klement or a spacious minivan for up to 8 passengers. The ideal choice for couples, families, groups of friends and corporate clients who want to combine history, architecture and Bohemian atmosphere into one unforgettable day.

Why visit Hluboká and Český Krumlov

Hluboká nad Vltavou is often compared to England's Windsor – a white neo-Gothic château surrounded by an extensive English-style park, one of the most visited castles in the Czech Republic. Český Krumlov, a historic town wrapped around a bend of the Vltava River, has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1992 and boasts the country's second-largest castle complex. Together they offer the essence of a South Bohemian day trip – comfortably reachable in one day with a private driver.

How the day looks step by step

In the morning we pick you up at your chosen address. The drive from Vienna takes about 2.5 hours, from Brno around 3 hours. Your first stop is Hluboká nad Vltavou – roughly 2 hours for a tour of the state rooms and a walk through the park. We then continue via České Budějovice to Český Krumlov (about 40 minutes). In Krumlov you have 3–4 hours for a castle tour, a stroll through the historic centre, a climb up the castle tower and lunch in a traditional South Bohemian restaurant. On request we can add a raft ride on the Vltava. In the early evening we drive you door-to-door back home.

Who is this trip ideal for

For lovers of history, romantic architecture and photography. For couples, families with children, groups of friends and corporate clients. Both Hluboká and Krumlov are stunning year-round – spring and summer highlight the castle gardens, autumn turns the Vltava into a colourful meander, and winter adds the magic of Krumlov's Christmas market.

What's included and what to prepare

The private transfer price includes a professional English-speaking driver, fuel, motorway tolls in Czechia and Austria, bottled water and light refreshments. The price is fixed per vehicle, not per person – the bigger the group, the better the value. Not included are castle entrance fees, guided tours, raft rides and meals. We're happy to help pre-book castle tours – recommended in high season.
